This young lady was nominated for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay by Mr. Larson. She has been working hard and following expectations in classes. She’s been a great addition to the Journey family!

We are in need of gift card donations to assist Harrisburg families this holiday season. Gift cards in $25 increments are preferred, but any amount will do! Please drop off your donations in care of the Counseling Department at school by this Friday, December 11th . Thank you! ♥️

This young man was nominated by Mrs. Wieking for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay. He is constantly choosing to be “above the line” in class and out at recess and encourages his classmates to do the same. His positive attitude and hard work are great additions to Journey!

This young man was nominated by Mrs. Bauer for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay. He goes out of his way to help both his teacher and his classmates and sets a great example for the class, by volunteering and noticing tasks that need to be done.

This young lady was nominated by Mr. Bullerman for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay. She spent her entire afternoon recess picking up trash to keep Journey clean!

Shout out to these 5th graders for showing ownership and responsibility by stepping up to cover crosswalk duty for some friends this week!

This young man was nominated by Ms. Reiger for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay. He has amazing leadership skills; and works well inter-dependently, with empathy and understanding. Along with his work ethic and kindness, he leads by example. #ProudPrincipal

The Kindness Cart came by last week! Our Student Council put together a Kindness Cart full of snacks for the teachers for Kindness Week! The students at Journey are pretty amazing!

This young lady was nominated by Mrs. Bauer for the #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay. She has been doing an awesome job during independent reading time! She reads a lot of non-fiction and has something interesting to share with me every day! Her love of reading is really showing through!

One of our Kindergarteners is our #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay for bringing a book about showing others kindness to others to read to the class for Kindness Week. Mrs. Jensen’s dad would have been proud of her demonstration of bleating like a goat!
