Amanda Edlund has been named the South Dakota Special Education – Educator of the Year. The award was announced at the 2026 South Dakota Special Education Conference in Sioux Falls.

Amanda was one of five finalists for this prestigious recognition. As one of our Speech-Language Pathologists serving students and staff at Journey Elementary, she consistently demonstrates dedication, professionalism, and a deep commitment to student success.
