LILY SHIELDS FUNDRAISER: Lily is a 5 year old learner at Horizon who faces numerous medical hurdles each day. She is facing a major surgery in mid-December which will require a lengthy hospital stay hours away from home.

Journey Elementary honored our Veterans with a lunch yesterday! We had a fantastic turnout. Thank you Veterans for all you do and have done for us! The Journey student council did a great job of organizing and decorating our lunchroom for our Veterans.

Mrs. Wieking nominated these two learners for getting up in front of the TL 2-5 learners and sharing their recycling writing news articles. They received the #goodnewscalloftheday for their courage and creative writing skills. #greatjob





Small groups worked together to create instruments, bags, and one group created a portable fridge, while another group created a small critter cage. Great activity to see their minds working together, persisting, and managing impulsivity!
