Integrity & honesty matter. When playing a game yesterday, this young man admitted someone gave him a little extra help & they replayed the round. Mrs. Fagerland said it was amazing for him to do the right thing even when it wasn’t easy! So proud of him! #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay

This young man was having a frustrating experience using his iPad, but rather than getting upset he decided to write about how he was feeling and talked through it with Mrs. Kockx. What AMAZING self-control! #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay
This young lady stepped up to help a friend in her classroom who was upset coming in the classroom. Mrs. Townsend saw her get up from her table to go over and comfort him. Love seeing our learners showing kindness and empathy! #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay

Mrs. Ruden & Ms. Horsley have seen this young man go out of his way to compliment & thank our kitchen staff. Recently, he realized he forgot to do this & asked to go back into the serving area to thank them for a wonderful meal. Isn’t that awesome!?! #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay

Mrs. Kockx nominated this learner for a #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay for his creativity and thinking outside of the box creating a comic strip with a writing prompt. His work will be used as an example with other learners to understand different forms of writing!

During recess this morning, a friend’s lanyard broke and beads went everywhere. This young lady spent the rest of the recess helping her find the beads and put it all back together. Isn’t that awesome?! Her teacher definitely thought so! #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay
