Today’s #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay goes to a young lady who consistently works hard and is so respectful to other learners. Mrs. Johnson asked me to help celebrate her for being a really good person!


This young lady is today’s #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay recipient for her hard work & perseverance in math. She told her teacher if she wanted to “accept the challenge“even though she was struggling. She persevered and figured it out!


This young man gave up some of his own time to help out a friend so he could take part in Friday Fun activities in the classroom! Mrs. Enebo was blown away by his selflessness! #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay

This young man was nominated for a #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay for his hard work & dedication with his reading skills! Mrs. Townsend said it’s been awesome to see how much he’s grown this year!


Today’s #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay goes to a learner who spoke up & showed empathy to a classmate when others were laughing. He shared he gets what it’s like to be picked on and doesn’t want other people to feel that way. Fun to share with his mom who knows how big his heart is!


Today’s #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay goes to a young lady who stepped up to help out a friend who got hurt on the playground. Mrs. Halvorson said she was the perfect little nurse to help the learner feel better and safe!


Mrs. Enebo nominated this young man for #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay for looking for ways to show caring toward others - writing notes, drawing pictures & giving compliments. He goes out of his way to find ways to show that he cares!


Despite being new to our school this year, this young lady has really come out of her shell and goes out of her way to show kindness to others. Mrs. Hanson shared this has been awesome to see as the year has progressed. #GoodNewsCallOfTheDay


A number of kids showed up early for band and they took it upon themselves to start rehearsing all on their own --working together to choose the song, playing together, and offering each other encouragement and praise. Talk about "owning" it! #GoodNewsCalloftheDay
