Journey Elementary

Recently,  some of our 4^th graders were able to learn about Dakota, Nakota, and Lakota Life using a kit from the South Dakota State Historical Society. With its strong Native American components, this educational kit allowed the learners to see first-hand artifacts from those three Native American groups. Learners were able to learn about the various tribes heritage, how they lived, and the impact they have had on South Dakota. Next, they will learning about the Sioux tribes.
