On Tuesday, September 21st, The fourth graders at Journey Elementary had the pleasure of hearing from Mayor Paul TenHaken discuss the importance of Government. Learners were able to get the inside scoop on how our city of Sioux Falls runs including, fire and police department responsibilities. He also discussed how laws are created and how to be a responsible citizen.
We all enjoyed our time with the Mayor and gained great knowledge to help us better understand our beautiful state of South Dakota.
